Family Bee Day in the Garden- info & activities

16th July – 9.30 – 12 pm
Brilliant Bees are a vital part of our ecosystem.
And here at King Henry’s Walk Garden we are lucky to have our own honey bees.
The morning will be hosted by Viv Rowdon from The Garden Classroom (TGC).
You can:
- Visit the observation hive with a TGC beekeeper
- Roll a homemade beeswax candle
- Craft a mini bee using natural materials
- Taste some local honey
- Go on a fact hunt to win a mini jar of honey!
Please join us for a fun and creative few hours in the garden. You are welcome to join us at any point during the session time but the last visit to the observation hive will be at 11.30 am.
Fees – £4 per adult & £1 per child
The maximum number is 20 people and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation Policy
If KHWG needs to cancel a workshop, all booking fees will be reimbursed in full
Booking fees refund policy:
- Booking fees will be refunded for requests made more than 4 weeks before a workshop
- Booking cancellations requested between 4-2 weeks before a workshop will not be reimbursed, but may be transferred to another workshop.
- Booking cancellations requested less than two weeks before a workshop will not be refunded
