We are delighted to be welcoming back artist Cristina Ottonello who held a very popular winter themed workshop last November. \nCristina will guide you through making a paper and willow lantern to decorate your home this summer with a bright summer bird lantern. We will take inspiration from the birds in the garden. \nThe session is messy and may involve the use of sharp tools like scalpel knives. \n  \n   \nCristina\, who is a plot holder in the garden\, is an Italian-born\, London-based artist specialising in outdoor arts\, creating spectacular temporary installations for street events\, celebrations\, festivals\, light trails\, parks and carnivals. SUMMARY:Lantern Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Get into the festive spirit in this lantern making workshops with artist Cristina Ottonello. \nCristina will guide you through making a paper and willow lantern to decorate your window\, bringing colour and light into your home in winter. \nThe session is messy and may involve the use of sharp tools like scalpel knives \n   \nCristina\, who is a plot holder in the garden\, is an Italian-born\, London-based artist specialising in outdoor arts\, creating spectacular temporary installations for street events\, celebrations\, festivals\, light trails\, parks and carnivals. A key part of her  practice is participation\, making  work with communities. \nWe are delighted to host her in the garden!\nCristina’s work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally\, at venues including the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew and Edinburgh and Southbank Centre and parades like the Boishaki Mela and The Lord Mayor’s Festival.  \nhttps://www.instagram.com/cristina.otto.art/ \nPlease note this event is sold out! \nThe website is still showing availability below but please do not try to book\, but contact us to enquire about going on the waiting list for returns\n
