£15.00Get into the festive spirit in this lantern making workshops with artist Cristina Ottonello.
Cristina will guide you through making a paper and willow lantern to decorate your window, bringing colour and light into your home in winter.
The session is messy and may involve the use of sharp tools like scalpel knives
Cristina, who is a plot holder in the garden, is an Italian-born, London-based artist specialising in outdoor arts, creating spectacular temporary installations for street events, celebrations, festivals, light trails, parks and carnivals. A key part of her practice is participation, making work with communities.
We are delighted to host her in the garden!
Cristina’s work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally, at venues including the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew and Edinburgh and Southbank Centre and parades like the Boishaki Mela and The Lord Mayor’s Festival.
