The workshop will be led by Nat Mady. Nat has been Hackney Herbal for 10 years and community gardening since 2010.

● Understanding the transitions from autumn to winter and how to prepare
● Clearing summer beds of old plants
● Soil fertility – mulching, green manures
● Creating habitats for wildlife and encouraging biodiversity
● Seed sowing for winter crops
● Tips for composting green waste on site in the garden
