Develop your understanding of how to keep soil healthy

The workshop will be led by Nat Mady. Nat has been Hackney Herbal for 10 years and community gardening since 2010.

The basics of growing – what plants need to survive and thrive eg. sunlight,
support, feeding
● Seed Sowing – when to sow different crops
● Looking after your soil – understanding the soil food web
● Which crops work well in small spaces
● Obtaining a yield all-year round
● Tips for watering
● Time for questions, a practical activity/demo eg. seed sowing / planting out

This is a follow up to the autumn/ winter session on 14th September  – why not book both?
